In a statement on Thursday, Esmaeil Baqaei denounced the massacre of Yemeni civilians, including innocent women and children, and the destruction of Yemens vital infrastructures in the US military attacks.
The spokesman condemned the American airstrikes as war crimes and crime of aggression, deploring the shameful and unjustifiable inaction of the UN Security Council and the other international institutions on those atrocities.
Censuring the massacre of hundreds of Palestinian children and women in the bombardment of Gaza in the past recent days, Baqaei said the parties providing military, financial and political supportfor the Zionist regime are accomplices in the Israeli crimes.
The concurrence of the US strikes on Yemen, which began during the tenure of former US President Biden, and the escalation of genocide in Gaza leaves no doubt that the US and the Zionist regime have hatched a joint plot to weaken the Islamic Ummah and silence any voice of support and solidarity with the Palestinian people, he added.
The Iranian spokesperson finally stressed the Islamic communitys common responsibility to stop the Israeli atrocities and the US military aggression, calling for concerted and effective action by Muslim governments and the efforts by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to address the issue.
More than 430 Palestinians, including 183 children, have been killed in Gaza since the Israeli regime shattered the ceasefire on Tuesday.
Meanwhilein Yemen, the US has launched several waves of attacks in the past days, killing scores of people.
