People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said on the sidelines of the Eid al-Fitr prayer in Tehran on Monday.
He was responding to US President Donald Trump who has threatened Iran with bombings and secondary tariffs.
The Americans have at least ten bases around Iran in the region, which accommodate some 50,000 forces. This means they are sitting inside a glass room, the IRGC general cautioned.
In remarks at the sermons of the Eid prayer on Monday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned the US and the Israeli regime that if they commit any vicious acts, they will definitely receive a strong reciprocal blow from Iran.
First, if any hostile act is committed from outside though the likelihood is not high it will undoubtedly be met with a strong counterstrike. Second, if the enemy, as in previous years, seeks to incite internal sedition, the nation will respond decisively to the instigators, just as it has in the past, the Leader stated.
