In a telephone conversation with his Saudi Arabian counterpart, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi elaborated on Irans stances on the regional developments.
He said the Zionist regimes relentless atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank and its recurrent acts of aggression against Lebanon have led to the daily escalation of insecurity in the region.
Araqchi called for the mobilization of the international community to stop the centurys worst case of genocide.
He further briefed the Saudi foreign minister on the process of indirect nuclear talks between Iran and the US.
For his part, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud expressed sympathy with Iran over a tragic explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port that has killed dozens of Iranians.
He offered Saudi Arabias condolences to the Iranian government and nation and the families of victims of the blast.
