Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh and Malaysias Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Mohamad Sabu held a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday.
The two ministers weighed plans to promote cooperation between Tehran and Kuala Lumpur in various fields, particularly in food security, modern farming technologies and logistical supports.
Highlighting Irans great capacities in the agricultural and industrial sectors, the Iranian defense minister expressed Tehrans readiness to provide Malaysias agriculture industry with technical and engineering services and modern technologies.
For his part, the Malaysian minister called for the expansion of cooperation with Iran in the supply of equipment, training and exchange of experiences.
The two ministers also stressed the need to define a road map to the implementation of the bilateral agreements and enhancement of collaboration.
