In a post on his X account on Monday, Grossi said he had a timely meeting withAraqchi and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty in Cairo.
Grateful for Egypts constructive role in supporting peaceful, diplomatic solutions to regional challenges, the IAEA chief added.
The meeting came after Grossis most recent report to the IAEA Board of Governors about Iran sparked criticism from Tehran.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said on Monday that the IAEA report has been prepared under the influence of a number of European states, bemoaning the fact that the West can damage the status of an international organization.
